Clinical studies have proven that the combination of lyocell and Zinc in a fabric reduces the severity of atopic eczema, reduces itchiness, and improves the quality of sleep when the fabric is worn directly on the skin for three consecutive nights. (1) (2)
This is why our signature fabric’s main components are regular lyocell and a special lyocell that is embedded with Zinc (Smartcel™ Sensitive).
Lyocell on its own is known to be super soft, anti-bacterial, thermoregulatory, and up to 70% more moisture-wicking than cotton.
Zinc has been used for thousands of years to help reduce inflammation and itching, improve the healing of wounds, and to regenerate the skin and is a common component in creams for sensitive, eczema skin (such as diaper creams).
DESIGNED TO BE COMFORTING DAY AND NIGHT
All our garments and bedding are designed to be comfortable day and night. To protect even the most sensitive skin all our garments have a seamless design and are free from itchy labels on the inside. Our clothes have a stimulus-free feel which besides for children with sensitive skin, also works great for children with sensory issues such as Autism and HSP.
MINIMIZE THE RISK FOR ALLERGIC REACTIONS OR SKIN IRRITATIONS
Our signature fabric is naturally hypo-allergenic and our bedding is dust mite proof.
All the materials we use in our garments, such as dyes, but also zippers, and buttons are hypo-allergenic and free from harmful chemicals, such as formaldehyde, nylon, nickel, and latex.
All materials used are certified OEKO-TEX 100, class 1, and have been tested and approved to be harmless for skin contact.
The Zinc used in our signature fabric also acts as a shield against harmful UVA and UVB radiation. It provides the skin with up to QQQUPF, making our garments great for outdoor play in the sun. (To compare, a regular white shirt only provides up to 7 UPF).
STAYS FRESH AND HYGIENIC LONG
Lyocell is naturally antibacterial and Zinc also possesses antibacterial properties as well as odor-reducing properties.
Thanks to the special patented process from Smartcel™ sensitive, the Zinc is permanently embedded into our signature fabric, even after multiple (>100 ) washing cycles.
ECO FRIENDLY AND BIODEGRADABLE
Our signature fabric is eco-friendly and biodegradable. It is produced in a closed-loop process with only renewable raw materials and without the use of aggressive chemicals.
